Please use the detailed list below to aid your journey from draft to completion of your Extended Essay.

  

·         You have submitted the first draft (at least) to your Supervisor.

·         Your supervisor is now expected to advise you about your EE, they are not expected to edit your EE.

·         You have taken into account your Supervisor's suggestions and will now produce the final draft of the EE acting upon:

o   Relevant feedback from your Supervisor

o   Your own ideas

o   Specific guidelines that I.B. publish for your subject (available on this website) regarding presentation, referencing, bibliography etc.

·         EE to be finalised over the Summer.

o   Plan a schedule for redrafting.

o   Seek extra advice from your Supervisor if unsure.

o   Proof read (again and again).

o   Write the bibliography.

o   Write an abstract in include the research question being investigated, the scope of the investigation and the conclusion of the extended essay.

o   Check the format.

o   Assess yourself according to the Assessment Criteria.

o   Ask a critical friend to read it through.

·         EE is printed out and presented to John Bowers on TBA 2011 in I.B. Forum.

·         ·         Conduct the viva voce by TBA 2011.
